From August 31 to September 1, 2024, the Bright Project cataract restoration initiative, funded and executed by Huijue Group, was successfully carried out in the Dongxiang District of Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province. This event provided more than twenty local beneficiaries with cataract-related educational awareness, basic vision and intraocular pressure tests, and eye fundus examinations. Preliminary screenings were conducted for some patients, with plans to carry out surgeries in the coming days.

Cataracts are a common eye disease among the elderly, and early detection and treatment are crucial. Through this event, not only did the patients in the Dongxiang District of Fuzhou receive professional medical services, but public awareness of eye health was also significantly raised. The event was warmly welcomed by the surrounding community, with many elderly recipients on-site expressing that they previously thought blurry vision was a normal part of aging and lacked understanding and awareness of eye diseases and treatment options. The event not only increased their knowledge but also offered them an opportunity for surgery, leaving them happy and grateful.
